Biography
He made his debut at the age of 11. At that time he received a special mention and an award from Henryk Jerzy Chmielewski, creator of the famous comic book series: "Tytus, Romek and A'Tomek" at a national drawing contest. He graduated from the Piotr Potworowski High School of Fine Arts in Poznań. In 2021 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, earning a Master of Arts degree in Painting, specializing in easel painting. He completed a supplementary diploma in wall painting. It was the first diploma in the history of the University, which combined wall painting with intermedia. Winner of the Audience Award for the best art diploma and a distinction from the Center for Contemporary Art "Signs of the Times" in Torun. In 2022, the artist's works were exhibited in Egypt, Germany, Zurich, at CICA - Czong Institute for Contemporary Art in South Korea, and in Venice during the Biennale d'Arte di Venezia. The artist's work in individual and collective exhibitions has been presented by institutions such as the Center for Contemporary Art "Signs of the Times" in Torun, the "Światowid" European Meeting Center in Elblag, the Rondo Art Gallery in Katowice, the Royal Łazienki Park and the Grand Theater in Warsaw, the Arsenal City Gallery in Poznan. The artist is proficient in various techniques and styles, which he combines to create unique works. Since 2014, he has been painting the distinctive paintings with duplicated eyes for which he is famous. This is the author's series of jittery portraits, variations on the body and soul, identity. The jittery, transcendent works are vibrant, pulsating, full of emotion. It is a kind of attempt to take the viewer on a walk into the depths of the human soul. The style in which he creates can be described as figurative deconstructivism. In his latest series, the artist creates moving oil paintings, combined with new technology, which can be seen in Metaverse, among others. It is worth mentioning that in 2019 he created a project entitled. "While We Live," in which he found and painted portraits of living heroes from the World War II period. His project lived to see publication in the "Silesia" Monthly published by the Upper Silesian Literary Society in Katowice.
