My name is Tomasz Motloch and I was born in the early 1970s under the sign of twins, which perhaps explains my interest in various fields of art - poetry, literature, music, film, theater, painting and photography. Spending time at the easel is for me an antidote to today's consumerist and commercial times. The result is paintings created in various techniques, which are an attempt to pay homage to artists such as Jozef Czapski, Maurice Utrillo and many others.
With photography, I find the subjects of my paintings outside. The world is full of ready-made compositions. A fragment of a wall, a building, a factory can become a ready-made painting.
