Piotr Król was born in 1973 in Lodz, Poland. From 1993 to 1999 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. He received his diploma in painting, drawing and woodcut in 1999 with a very good result. After graduation, he is engaged in easel and wall painting and educational work with young people.
He is a laureate of the Wł. Strzemiński Competition.
In 1999 he received a medal from the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Lodz for a series of woodcuts.
In 2006 he was the winner of the international competition "The Artist and His Work" organized by "Contemporary Painting", for his painting "Balloon Seller".
In 2007, he was awarded a scholarship to the Treglio fresco school run by prominent Italian painter Vic Calabro.
In 2008, his painting "Death on the Cross" was the icon of the Stations of the Cross exhibition at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadelupe. (Mexico).
In 2021 he was a finalist in the 6th Piotrkow Art Biennial "Return from the Stars".
