Paulina Skonieczna - born in 1989, lives in Ustroń. She has been working with photography since 2016. She studies at the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava. In her works she explores the world of emotions, tackles themes of violence, self-acceptance and maturity. She combines her professional work in a corporation with creating
and raising children, polemicizing with society's belief in the role of the female mother.

In 2024, her self-portraits made in embroidered cyanotype technique won first place in the Alternative Process category of the prestigious Julia Margaret Cameron Award in Spain.

She works in various techniques: photography, cyanotype, collage and embroidery.
She conducts cyanotype workshops for children and adults.
