Paulina Lignar graduated in 2005 from the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Painting, in the studio of Prof. Leszek Misiak and Prof. Adam Wsiolkowski, earlier in 2004 she studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna, Faculty of Painting, conceptual studio - Prof. Adi Rosenblum. For 2004/2005, she was awarded a Scholarship from the Minister of Culture for outstanding artistic and scientific achievements. Her works have been used for illustrations and book covers of contemporary Polish writers. She has had numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. She currently exhibits her art mainly in virtual form. She lives and creates in the mountains.
