Biography
Painter and visual artist, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, working mainly in the medium of painting. In her works she explores issues of melancholy, memory and the past, focusing on emotions and intimate reflections on relationships and intimacy. Her work alludes to the nostalgia of the younger generation, especially Generation Z, whose characteristic feature is a longing for a world they have not experienced. Drawing inspiration from old films and photographs, the artist analyzes the past to which she feels attached. Her monochromatic paintings depict anonymous figures suspended in time, hibernating in the space of memories - non-existent, yet full of inner longing.
