Kornel Kowalski (b. 1985, Gdynia), "Life on Capri," 2024

Biography
He took the direction of the Post-Secondary School in Orlowo. After graduating from which he received the title of Artist Photographer in the field of digital photography in 2008. In 2018, he defended his Master of Arts degree in easel painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. His Promoter was Professor Maciej Swieszewski - it was in his graduation studio that Kornel developed rapidly. Which resulted in painting one of the most beautiful diplomas at the Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts in 2018. The main diploma consisted of 5 paintings entitled:" Invisible".
The annex was made by Kornel Kowalski under the watchful eye of equally well-known and respected artist Dr. Zbigniew Treppa. The annex titled: " Notes from Autopsy" presented 24 digital color and color photographs, which were a very innovative look at this type of photography and subject. Among his greatest successes in 2019 is the purchase of one painting from the diploma section by the National Museum in Gdansk Oliva. The painting is on permanent display at the museum, in the exhibition "Palace of Art. Young Polish Painting." Kornel Kowalski also takes photographs of modernist Gdynia. In the "spirit of bygone years - like on old postcards" and sunrises in Gdynia and Rumia. He is a Youtuber, running his own channel where he posts videos of cultural events and his own artistic videos Video-Art. - The videos are very painterly - " moving abstractions ". Kornel creates them all himself to which he composes music from scratch. The music composes the depth of the film's image in an interesting way. He also makes works from his imagination: oil paintings and drawings and watercolors. He is the author of three comic stories. 3 of the 4 comic books took 1st place.
