mixed technique (acrylic, shaggold), canvas, 100 x 100 cm, signed p.d.: Katarzyna Krzęczko. Work inspired by the 2010 film "Alice in Wonderland" directed by Tim Burton.
She is a native of Warsaw. By education she is an economist and translator, in her soul an artist. She graduated from high school with a major in art and participated in numerous courses in painting and drawing. She has been involved with art since she was a young girl. She creates mainly with acrylics on canvas, but also paints on old newspapers and sheet music. Sometimes she reaches for markers and ink. Her paintings are bold in color, very warm and emotional. She says of herself that she loves saturated colors, bold compositions and human eyes. She is fascinated by the feelings that are born on painted faces during the process of creating them. She is interested in music and 80/90s cinema, and enjoys combining different styles, shapes and patterns. She is inspired by pop art, graffiti and portrait photography.
