Kamila Kościańska (03.03.1997) graduated from the Institute of Visual Arts in Kielce, Poland, majoring in Fine Arts with a specialization in printmaking in 2021. She works in painting and printmaking, especially with techniques such as dry needle, linocut and intaglio etching techniques. In her work she draws inspiration from nature, its complex processes, combinations and invisible connections. She has participated in many national and international exhibitions and competitions. Also she has curated several projects and participated in art projects. She took part in an international workshop on printmaking at the House of Art in Scheersberg, Germany, a residency and internship at the Museum of Artistic Books in Lodz, learning the art of traditional book printing and bookbinding, and held a residency and internship in traditional printmaking techniques at the Stamperia del Tevere studio in Rome. For her outstanding artistic achievements, she has twice received the Prize of the Rector of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce and the Scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education. She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists of the Kielce District, and currently conducts art workshops at the studio Przystań dla Sztuki at the Kielce Cultural Center.
