Jolanta Ziolkowska - born 16.11.1970. Graduate of the Art Institute of the Silesian University in Katowice, branch in Cieszyn. In 2001 she received a diploma in printmaking (linocut) in the studio of Prof. Eugeniusz Delekta. She also completed postgraduate studies in computer graphics at the aforementioned university in the studio of Prof. Małgorzata Łuszczak. The artist works in painting, drawing and computer graphics. Her premise is to cover a wide range of subjects using a variety of techniques. The paintings at one time exude expressive and strong color and at another time an almost monochromatic color palette. In the words of Pablo Picasso - "If there were only one truth, it would be impossible to paint a hundred paintings on the same subject...". She engages in a dialogue with popular issues in art, trying to present them in her own, individual way. The artist's paintings can be found in private Polish and foreign collections.
