Bożena Zajiczek-Panuś (born 1984) painter, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Her work focuses on the exploration of matter and landscape, especially mountain landscape. In her works, she combines gestural painting with a fascination for geological processes and alternative perspectives on the world. She is the author of the series "Earth Art" (2018), depicting earthly landscapes from a bird's eye view, presented during a solo exhibition in Katowice. She is the author of numerous Tatra landscapes, exhibited, including at the Museum of the Earth of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, where her works were among the recognized artists. In 2024 she created a series of large-format mountain paintings, presented, among others, at the individual exhibition "Mountain Matter" in Cracow (2024). In 2024 she also co-created the exhibition "Matter and Light" in Katowice. Her works have been published several times in "Tatra" magazine.
Bożena Zajiczek-Panuś is appreciated for her expressive style and ability to translate the complexity of the material world into the language of painting. Her works are in private collections at home and abroad.
