Biography
Graduated with honors from the Crimean High School of Arts, and later defended his master's thesis with honors in the field of architecture at the Crimean Academy. After graduation, he moved to Poland. In 2011 he became a member of the Polish Artists in Warsaw district, and in 2013 of the Association of Polish Watercolorists. He has participated in more than a hundred author's and group exhibitions, which highlighted the artist's skills in many painting techniques, including watercolor, acrylic and oil. In 2004, he received an honorable mention for his watercolor in the international competition "VII Autumn Art Salon" at the BWA Gallery located in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski. He received a first and second degree diploma for his watercolor series at the "VII Watercolor Biennial" held in 2008 at the Art Museum in Simferopol. He is inspired by the pure colors contained in nature. He tries to present the intricacy and detail of forms with simple solids, which, the artist says, can express a painting subject much more powerfully than a painting oversaturated and oppressed with fine detail.
