Agnieszka Cieslinska's printmaking is made using a combined technique. This print on paper has a surrealistic character. The motifs appearing in Agnieszka Cieslinska's graphics are inspired by nature, and sometimes combine both. Her works often refer to organic shapes, landscapes, vegetation or microscopic structures. The artist experiments with various techniques, such as lithography, dry needle, etching and linocut.
Agnieszka Cieslinska is a professor of fine arts, a graphic artist. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1991. She currently leads the Interdisciplinary Studio of Classical Techniques in the Department of Workshop Graphics at her native university.
(Since 2015) President of the Board of Directors of the Tadeusz Kulisiewicz Scholarships and Awards Foundation.
Winner of many national and international awards including: Kochi International Triennial Exhibition of Prints award, Japan (2006); The Naka-Tosa Museum of Art. award, Japan (2009).
