Biography
In 1991 she graduated with honors from the University of Arts in Poznan, at the Faculty of Art Education in the Painting Studio of Prof. Piotr C. Kowalski. The artist does painting on canvas in oil and acrylic techniques. She also has experience in large-format works and frescoes on historical objects. She is competent as an art curator, art critic and specialist in artwork analysis. In addition, she is involved in design. Her painting is characterized by the search for a boundary or link between figurative and abstract art, in the context of visual scale. She creates mainly in series. The artist explores themes of femininity, especially in relation to emotions, spirituality, existence, poetry, social patterns, canons of beauty and the search for answers to questions related to these aspects. Her oeuvre includes many series of paintings, which have been presented in solo exhibitions in Poland, the UK, the US, Norway, Germany and Italy. Her works are part of museum collections and private collections in Poland and abroad.
