Augustus III Saxon, 1747 nuptial medal of Prince Frederick Christian to Antonina of Bavaria

Rare medal not listed in tin domestic market and only 2 times listed in silver. Quite large, 43 mm in diameter. Mint piece, excellent state of preservation, highest grading note. On the obverse, bust of the king to the right and inscription AUGUSTUS III D G REX POL D SAX S R I ARCHIM & EL.; on the reverse, bust of the newlyweds and inscription FRIDERCI CHRISTIANI REG POL EL SAX PRINC & ANTONIÆ BAVARÆ CONNUB, at the bottom MONACHII MDCCXLVII.
