A very nicely preserved Saxon thaler.

Lots of preserved mint luster.

Obverse: half-figure of a ruler in armor, holding a helmet and sword, to the right, in the outer rim the legend:
IOHAN-GEORG-D:G-DVX SAX-IVL-CLIV:ET MONTI:;

Reverse: in the pearl rim a fourteen-field shield topped with crest jewels, on its sides initials C-R, in the outer rim legend:
