Av. PHILIPPVS: D' - GRA': FRA: REX. Archangel Saint Michael standing under a baldachin ending a polylobe cut at the bottom, crowned, holding a long-staffed cross resting on the head of a dragon lying under his feet, and the shield of France with three lilies.
Rv. + XP'C: VINCIT: XP'C: REGNAT: XP'C: IMPERAT. Four-lobed cross, foliate and flory, within a quatrefoil flory flanked by four coronets.
