A unit of artillery units of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade is armed with BM-27 "Hurricane" cal. 220 mm rocket systems. The brigade is named after Pyotr Kalyshevsky, the last commander of the Zaporizhzhya Lowland Army. On December 6, 2022, the 27th Rocket Artillery Brigade named after Chief of Staff Petro Kalnyshevsky of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was awarded the honorary badge "For Valor and Courage" by decree of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
