A unit of mechanized troops that is part of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is based in Yavoriv, Lviv region. It is part of the "West" operational command. Since the beginning of Russian aggression in 2014, soldiers of the 24th brigade have taken part in fighting in eastern Ukraine.
The brigade is named after King Daniel, ruler of the Kingdom of Rus, a prominent statesman and leader of the Middle Ages.
