Hand closed, brass frame. Basket hilt, openwork, with the coat of arms of the Austrian Empire. Wooden shaft, cross-notched, covered with imitation lizard skin and entwined with brass filigree. The long cap is attached at the bottom together with the shaft in a ring, at the top riveted with the stem of the head. The frame is richly decorated. The steel hilt, polished, with a slight curvature, profiled on both sides into a single dorsal groove. The pen is double-edged, the hilt is symmetrical. On the inner sill the maker's signature "WEYERSBERG & STAMM SOLINGEN". P o c h w a s metal, upholstered in black leather. Brass hardware. Neck with bound monogram "FJI", topped with a crown. On the inner side a catching entablature. Below the riffle with a fixed collar. The butt end with an asymmetrical spur. The outside of the hardware richly decorated.
