Hand closed, brass binding, basket-shaped. Sessile, crossed, three-barrelled, mustache-shaped yoke. The rear arm of the hilt ended in a flattened ball, curled towards the head, the front arm, twice arched upwards, forms a bail connected to the headstock. Two side bails run in an arc on either side of the outer whisker and connect at the top with the main bail. The handle shaft is wooden, cross-notched, covered with leather. The handle is connected to the shaft by a single, solid rivet with olive-shaped heads. Long cap reaching the hilt. On the outside of the breech the manufacturer's punch "VERSAILLES" is beaten, in the oval the letter "B" (N. Boutete) and the military numerator "1.N.41". The steel hilt, polished, of moderate curvature, profiled on both sides in one wide, reaching short, double-edged pen, groove. On the outer lobe, under the cap, minted punches: the letter "B" surrounded by a wreath - J.G. Bick, "K" in an oval - J.I. Krantz, "L" in a circle - F.L. Lobstein. On the spine the inscription "Mfture impale de Klingenthal Juillet 1812".
P o c h w a steel, polished, with two riffles with movable collars on the back. Neck collar thickened, with a profiled saber entry and a dodge at the perimeter for the mustache of the stag. The neck fixed in the scabbard sheath with a screw on the dorsal side. At the spur a small clearance in the sheath. The spur is asymmetrical.
