Closed hilt, steel frame Shielded, basket-shaped, four-bladed hilt. Shank of black stock, cross-notched. Long cap top riveted with the shaft of the head, bottom in the ring at the hilt. The hilt of steel, polished, with negligible curvature. Amphibians flat wedge-shaped on both sides, the ridge of circular cross-section. Feather long, double-edged, with protruding, asymmetrical bones. The staff is symmetrical. On the spine the inscription: "Mnufre Chetellerault Avril 1894". P o c h w a s steel, the neck fixed in the sheath by a press-fit, two riffles with movable butt-pieces on the back. Asymmetrical spur. Corrosion over the entire surface.
