Hand closed, brass frame, gilded. Basket hilt, decorated in the outer part with perforated floral pattern and anchor motif. The rear arm of the hilt, ending in a stylized dolphin's head, curled towards the head. The forward tapering, arched shield forms a bail with a hole for a sling. Long hood, attached by a ring at the hilt, riveted at the top with the headstock. Shank of black stock, with transverse notches. The blade is steel, polished, nickel-plated, with negligible curvature, profiled on both sides into a single groove and a paring groove. The pen is short, double-edged, with a boney, symmetrical hilt. On the back the maker's signature "Coulaux et Cie Klingenthal". P o c h w a s made of wooden shells, covered with black leather. Brass binding, gilded. On the outside of the neck a catch and an applied anchor. Two riffles with movable butt caps on the back. The scabbard ends in a viscera with an asymmetrical spur, decorated with a stylized, convex floral ornament.
