The shaft of the handle made of black stock, transversely notched and laced with brass filigree, with the bottom seated in the socket of the blade of the hilt, with the top fixed with a short hood riveted with the shaft of the head. The shield on the side of the ridge, the bail and the edges of the hood - decorated with a bordure with a floral motif. The steel blade, nickel-plated, of moderate curvature, profiled on both sides in the so-called "Montmorency cut". Short, double-edged pen, stab in line with the spine.
