Closed hilt, brass binding, basket-shaped. Tailpiece sigmoidal, crossed, three-barrelled, with whiskers. Two side bails, running in an arc on either side of the outer mustache, connect to the main bail. Wooden shaft, cross-notched, covered with leather and bound with filigree. The cap is long, with the bottom fixed at the hilt, with the top riveted with the headstock. Steel blade, with considerable curvature, profiled on both sides in a wide furrow. The pen is double-edged, the hilt in the line of the spine. On the spine the inscription: "Gebr. Weyersberg in Solingen". Neutralized corrosion throughout.
