Hand closed, steel frame. Cross-barbed yoke with oval-shaped halves. The rear arm curled into a flat volute, the front arm, refracted at a right angle, forms a bail in the shape of a half blade. The shaft of black mass, transversely fluted and laced with filigree, the bottom gripped by a ring, from above by a screw on the head. In the cheeks of the cap a transverse rivet. The steel hilt, of moderate curvature, profiled on both sides into a single adventurous buff, extending to a long, double-edged hilt. The hilt is symmetrical. On the inner sill the maker's signature: "E.PACK/& SOHN/ SOLINGEN". The stock is steel, with a single riffle and a movable butt. On the inner side of the riffle an entablature. Neck with collar fixed by two screws. Asymmetrical spur.
