Hand open, nickel-plated fittings. Wooden shaft, spun in the middle part, with a boneyard along the entire length. Shank bottomed in a boat-shaped deer socket. The head in a similar shape to the hilt, with a socket for a handle, mounted with a nut on the shank. Head of steel, nickel-plated, double-edged, with a full-length boneyard. On the outer side etched inscription "All for Germany", on the inner side manufacturer's mark in oval "HUGO BERNS/HUBEO/SOLINGEN - OHLIGS". P o c h w a s metal, covered with black lacquer, nickel-plated hardware. Neck with thickened collar and viscera decoratively cut, attached with two screws to the scabbard sheath. Movable collar for attaching the rapier. Viscera finished with a flattened knob.
