On the inner lobe, at the base stamped deep, now heavily corroded and illegible maker's brand. The head on the pawn, on both amphibians is decorated with modest decoration and etched inscriptions. The inner amphibian bears the word EGUAGLIANZA" (brotherhood), while the inner amphibian bears "LIBERTA" (freedom) and the initials "GL".
