Lot description
Slightly curved nickel-plated blade with central point, false back and long cut-outs, marked "Weyersberg & Stamm Solingen" on the ricasso. The blade is etched with the inscription 'Glück Auf' on one side and the mining symbol (crossed hammers) on the other side. Openwork and embossed silver-plated hilt, handle covered with sharkskin and wrapped with coiled wire. Nickel plated scabbard with fixed hanging loops. Together with original hinge and sash with tassels. Austria-Hungary, 2nd half of the 19th century, length 104 cm.
