PSZnZ "Poland" patch Plastic.

add Your note
Lot description Show orginal version

Single plastic "Poland" patch. Red bow made of celluloid with white Poland lettering. The reverse is plain. At the wound of the badge on the sides there are visible holes used for attaching to the sleeve of the uniform.

Badges of this type were made in Italy in the town of Castelfidardo from July 1944, just before the Battle of Ancona until about 1947.

Castelfidardo was the center of accordion production (in which cellulite was used). Through the ongoing war, demand for musical instruments declined and as soon as Polish units captured the town, local workshops began producing Polish symbols, patches and souvenirs.

Approximately 60.5mm x 14mm, celluloid 1944-47, Italy
