The order is in the shape of an isosceles cross, gilded, with arms covered with white enamel, ending in balls at the ends of the arms. In the center of the cross, on a circular red enamel shield, there is a stylized national eagle wz. 19 without a crown. The border bears the gilded inscription "POLONIA RESTITUTA." The reverse of the cross is gilded, with the date 1944 in the center on a round enamel shield.
Dimensions: 5.7 cm x 5.6 cm ribbon length 7.5 cm.
