Lot description
The badge of the "For Participation in the Defensive War of 1939" medal, designed by Edward Gorol, had the form of a round disc with a diameter of 40 mm, made of silver-plated and oxidized alloy. The obverse featured the 1939 military eagle and the date 1939 placed below. An inscription was placed on the reverse: "FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE DEFENSE WAR - DADSHIP," separated by crossed swords between the words "DEFENSE WAR" and "DADSHIP."
