The head of polished steel with floral etchings (oak leaves), the emblem of the Republic and an inscription in capitals : "WE WILL NOT THROW THE EARTH WHERE OUR ROD IS". On the dorsal hilt from the side of the head the number "5" is stamped. Wooden handle covered with dark brown leather with 9 - ma notches entwined with twisted brass wire. Weight of the saber in the scabbard: 1.12 kg. Weight of the saber bare: 0.62 kg. Nickel-plated steel scabbard with two riffles and movable butt caps. Condition of preservation 5/4/4.
