Polish officer's sword wz 1924/37 with scabbard.
Designed for officers and senior non-commissioned officers of airborne and armored forces, motorized artillery, anti-aircraft and vehicle troops, and heaviest artillery. Overall length 34 cm. Steel head, nickel-plated, with a length of 23 cm. Decorated with an ornament of acanthus leaves, an eagle and the inscription "Honor and Fatherland". At the base on the inner side embossed inscription - the name of the company G.Borowski.
Rectangular head with mushroom-shaped nut, decorated with laurel leaf ornament. The yoke is straight, ending in hexagonal knobs with convex buttons. The ring above the hilt decorated with a band of laurel leaves. The whole piece is made of white metal.
Metal scabbard covered with black leather. Fittings made of white metal, silver plated. The neck together with the riffle and the movable collar in the lower part decorated with a strip of laurel leaves. The second riffle decorated similarly. The buttstock is flat beveled, ending with a metal knob, which is missing. In the upper part decorated with a strip of laurel leaves. Length of the scabbard 25,5 cm.
