Serial number 15355, calibre 11 mm (.45). Octagonal rifled barrel with mirror bore, 114 mm long, marked on the left side 'Acier fondu'. The six-chambered cylinder is marked with the Lusatian experience mark "ELG". SA/DA. The mechanism is accessed by releasing the left-hand lever and hinging the left side wall pivoting around a pin at the rear of the frame. All internal components are numbered. The walnut sides are fitted with herringbone. Belgium, Liege circa 1880, overall length is approx 24cm. Engraved monogram 'RP' on the left. The FAGNUS revolver is often incorrectly referred to as 'MAQUAIRE', after the director who represented the A firm in Paris. FAGNUS & Co, address 19-21 Rue Jonruelle.
