The main armor of the armor is made in Hishi-Toji Okegawa-do tosei gosoku-do stuli, meaning that the body of the armor was made of iron strips covered with leather, with visible sealed
nodules of ito knots. The helmet of this armor is of the Mononori (peach-shaped) type. The kabuto has
two side jewels - waki date - in the form of horns, and the main Mendate jewel in the shape of a golden circle. Mempo's combat mask is made of two parts (a separate plate protects the nose) and is covered with a special rusty Tetsu sabiji uruki nuri lacquer. The armor also comes with matching Sode shoulder pads and shoulder and forearm protectors and shin guards, as well as the original Bitsu chest with copper hardware. The whole thing is kept in a dark brown color scheme with indigo-colored ito strings, and additionally the gilded Do mon of the Ashikaga family on the armor catches the eye. This was one of the major aristocratic families in Japan that established the shogunate during the Muromachi period and was descended from the Minamoto family. Most of Japan's well-to-do families were related to them, and the Ashikaga clan itself was based in Shimotsuke province.
