Walking stick with a hollow channel for a folding instrument for measuring the height of a horse's shoulder. At the inlet a ferrule-sleeve with the signature "NEUSILBER". Extending brass rod of square cross-section, in which are hidden two, folding steel slats. On the brass rod, on opposite sides an engraved scale in inches from 36 to 66 and from 95 to 175. At the cap the signature "WIEN". The cane was the property of Lieutenant Colonel Albert Traeger, who from 27.01.1932, until the outbreak of World War II, served as district horse inspector in Lublin.
