A full samurai sword frame - without the sword. In Japan, a rich collector's item, and many collectors are limited to bindings only because of their decorative and aesthetic value. Such a binding must be equipped with a special TSUNAGI wooden head, because otherwise the pieces could not be assembled. Collections of binding
of swords are also displayed at all-Japanese historical exhibitions as an important part of the samurai legacy. The total length of the Koshirae binding - 104 cm. Length of the wooden Tsunagi - 74 cm. Scabbard covered with black lacquer Japanese urushi. Menuki on the handle made shakudo (copper-gold alloy) in the shape of insects on flowers. Fuchi and Kashira made of unrefined copper. Overall - a beautiful interior decoration without a sizable investment in the sword itself.
