Kabuto Suji Bachi from the Edo period

The canopy is made of 61 interconnected tiles. Finished using the tetsu sabiji method.
A small fukigaeshi decorated with Kamon, the family crest. This particular crest is named Takanoha, depicting two crossed hawk feathers.
The cap is four-foliate, lacquered. Only remnants of the original bands remain on the folgi. The folgi are held on by a contemporary added string. The maedate front ornament is made of copper and brass. Decorated with a flame and the inscription Fudo-Myoo. Made contemporaneously.
The kabuto is not signed.
It dates from the Edo period.
