Cross made of wood. The obverse shows the dates 1911? 1915 and the inscription "Prisioner of war"(Prisoner of war), which may suggest the making of the cross in captivity by any of the soldiers fighting during the Great War. On the reverse are the flags of the various countries that were parties to the conflict such as the Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary, Prussia, Great Britain, France, Belgium and Japan.
