Cavalry scabbard wz AN XIII with scabbard, France 1811.
Length in scabbard 116 cm. length of the baton 110.5 cm.
HEAD: length 95.5 cm, width at the base 3.5 cm, thickness 1.0 cm.
CONDITION: minor corrosion marks (surface snowing, no cavities).
HEAD SIGNATURES: technical inspection marks in the form of letters: "B", " L", feature three partially obliterated. On the back there is a maker's mark: Manuf Imp du Klingenthal Avril 1811 - Imperial Manufactory, April 1811.
HANDLE: closed with a basket-shaped, open-worked hilt. There is a partially obliterated technical inspection mark on one of the bails. Wood covered with leather and brass filigree braid. Leather with traces of use (scuffs on the surface, but no cracks). Braid without damage.
SHIELD: made of thick steel plate, straight, with two riffles. No dents or other damage. The spur bears the mark of technical inspection. All in very good condition.
