Polish saber from the 17th century, after conservation.
Length of the saber 91 cm. Length of the head 77 cm. Width at the base 3,5 cm. Weight 862 g.
The head with corrosion losses, but the steel healthy, resilient. Surfaces protected with microcrystalline wax. Head with two shavings and clearly marked hammer. Pen sharpened on both sides. Facings of organic material have not survived.
The yoke original from this saber. Brass with a lilac cross motif on a chagrin background. Handle shaft with two rivet holes.
