Steel barrel, smooth, round, 8-groove in the bottom part, separated by an engraved band. Walnut bed, long, smooth flask; brass-coated head, oval, decorated with radial grooves. Also made of brass are the trigger guard and a wide lug at the mouth of the barrel, reinforcing the joint with the bed.
