Lot information

Lefaucheux system breech carbine made by Auguste Francotte. Octagonal barrel with maker's signature "auguste Francotte". Mechanism with rotating cylinder, cock with trigger guard decorated with a characteristic volute. Wooden stock, finely grooved in the grip part. The gun shows signs of normal use, the sight is missing.
