Hand closed, steel frame, nickel-plated. Cross-barbed yoke, with oval-shaped half-tracks. The rear arm of the hilt curled into a volute towards the head, the front arm, refracted at right angles, with a bulge in the upper part, forms a bail in the shape of a half-sword. A long, reaching the hilt with cheekpieces, from the top fixed together with the bail with a nut on the shank, at the bottom framed together with the shank by a ring. Wooden shaft, with transverse notches, painted black. The steel hilt, polished, of medium curvature, profiled on both sides into a single, reaching short, double-edged feather, with a dimpled groove. The staff is symmetrical. On the inner sill the signature "SIMSON & CO/SUAL." On the spine embossed number "14", topped with the letter "W" under the crown. Below, a gothic letter. P o c h w a steel, nickel-plated, with one riffle with fixed collar. Neck fixed in the mantle by two screws (no screws). On the outer side, under the collar, a beaten military numerator "22.A.5 and 7". Asymmetrical spur. Dent on the body and at the spur.
