Octagonal rifled barrel slightly elongated near the muzzle, the fly sliding in the herringbone, tunnel sight. Amateur engraved number '1523' on barrel, two stamped identical marks above chamber, browning restored. Wheel lock with covered wheel and richly decorated with engraved, partly embossed, hunting motifs. The weapon all-painted, slightly carved, decorated throughout with rata bone inlay. Bow and butt of brass stock decorated with figural engraving. Wooden charging handle with bone plunger. South Germany around 1700, length 120 cm. Forearm broken, repaired, replenished, parts of bone inlay later, front bone socket missing. Condition 2-

Wheellock with covered wheel and rich decoration with engraved hunting motifs, some in relief. Lightly carved full stock, decorated throughout with rich bone inlays. Brass trigger guard and butt cap decorated with figurative engraving. Wooden ramrod with horn tip. Southern Germany around 1700, length 120 cm. Fore-end broken, repaired, replaced, parts of the bone inlay later, ramrod pipe missing. Condition 2-
