In a wooden case lined with purple velvet, complete with all tools in good condition. Original key. Dimensions 49 x 7.5 x 25 cm. Pierre-Nicolas Boutet (1789-1816), son of Nicolas Noël Boutet, worked with his father in the Versailles manufactory from 1804 until his death in 1816. He had no mark of his own and signed only with his father 'Boutet et fils' (Der Neue Stöckel, vol. I, p. 134).
