Biography
Studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow under W. Luszczkiewicz and J. Matejko. He continued his studies in Vienna and Munich. He painted urban views of Vienna, Munich, Venice, Prague, and after returning from his studies to Poland - views of Krakow, Lviv and Warsaw. He exhibited his paintings at TPSP in Cracow, at the Krywult Salon in Warsaw, and also abroad. In cooperation with Juliusz and Wojciech Kossak, he created several watercolor cycles related to Cracow: "Jewels of the City of Cracow", "St. Mary's Church in Cracow" and "Wawel of the past treasury, the seat of the Piasts and Jagiellons". Tondos' works were also published in the form of postcards by the publishing house Salon of Polish Painters.
