JAWORNICKI M., First Cracow electro-mechanical coffee roaster. Kraków, Rynek gł. 44.
Porcelain cylindrical coffee container with metal dispenser, diameter 10 cm, height 22 cm, dated 1908. On the container on one side the company name and an elaborate protective brand, on the other side advertising text: "Coffees from my roaster are roasted by the latest and best method using hot air [...]". The container is white in color, the lettering is dark blue. Attached to the container is a metal lid with a simple dispensing mechanism equipped with a slider and a two-stage container for ground coffee. Good condition.
The owner of the roaster promoted his roasting plant this way in an advertising campaign conducted in 1908:
"First Coffee Roaster. Important for PP. Housewives!
For free, as a bonus, will be given to each of the P.P. Recipients showing return of pouches (with protective brand) from purchased 12 ½ kg of my excellent varieties of roasted coffee, a patented, decorative, airtight, hygienic, self-measuring and saving coffee storage can called: 'Conservator'.
