Eugeniusz Bodo (1899-1943), owner Bohdan Eugène Junod - film, revue and theater actor, director, screenwriter, singer and film producer.
One of the most outstanding and popular actors of interwar Polish cinema and theater. Performer of such blockbuster hits as "Baby, ach te baby," "Cold bastard," "Ach śpij, kochanie." After the aggression of Germany and the Soviet Union against Poland, he moved to Lviv, and in 1941 was arrested by the NKVD and deported deep into Russia as a potential spy (because of his dual Swiss-Polish citizenship). He died of exhaustion and illness in the gulag in Kotlas in 1943.
Benedykt Jerzy Dorys (1901-1990) - photographer, co-founder of the Union of Polish Artists Photographers. He made his debut in 1928 at the International Salon of Artistic Photography in Warsaw, and a year later (1929) decided to become a professional photographer and opened the atelier "Studio Dorys." During this time he became a photographer of the biggest stars of the stage and artists. After the war, in 1946, he opened an establishment in Warsaw, at 29 Nowy Świat Street.
